Explain core AI principles and terminology (machine learning, deep learning, NLP, automation); identify AI applications in security (threat detection, defense, security operations); and recognize AI-driven threats such as automated phishing, polymorphic malware, adversarial machine learning, and malicious use of generative AI.

Implement security controls to protect AI systems, data, and models; secure deployment environments across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures; and mitigate adversarial risks targeting models, data pipelines, and inference layers.

Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance detection and incident response, automate security workflows (event triage, alert correlation, response orchestration), and apply AI techniques in operations including threat modeling, behavior analysis, and continuous monitoring.

Understand global governance and regulatory frameworks; integrate governance, risk management, and compliance practices throughout the AI lifecycle; and ensure responsible, ethical AI use aligned with legal standards and industry frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIST AI RMF).
