Official Prerequisites

  • Minimum five years cumulative paid full-time IT work experience
  • At least three years of that experience in information security
  • At least one year of experience in one or more CCSP domains (e.g., architecture, governance, operations)
  • A four-year degree or approved credential can substitute for one year of required experience
  • Endorsement by an (ISC)² certified professional within nine months after passing is required
